Quote of the Day

"Vengeance is having a videotape planted in your soul that
cannot be turned off. It plays the painful scene over and over
again inside your mind...And each time it plays you feel the
clap of pain again...Forgiving turns off the videotape of pained
memory Forgiving sets you free."

--Lewis Smedes

Remember, you can change your mind, your emotions will
follow and your outcome will change.

New Visionary and Spiritual Art Video "The Christ"

I'm very happy with this new video I just posted.
You can Click Here to go to it or, just view it
at the end of this post.

This painting is about being able to connect to the
Christ Consciousness, or some might also refer to it
as the Universal Mind. Many other names also, but what
matters is the connection you can have with it.

Many layers I have in this energy I call the painting of
"The Christ". I invite you to relax and listen to the
music in the background and connect.

We are One......

This Can Inspire Years of Art Work

Maybe even lifetimes. Every time I see images from space
I am humbled by what it means to be alive, to live in the moment.

I get so inspired and whispers of truth are given to me.
These images give me MORE so I can give MORE through my
visionary and spiritual art.

I hope you enjoy these images and they touch you as much as they do me.

Ever heard of Pecha Kucha?

I just joined this group because it is an event that supports others
It's very interesting, here is the breakdown.

The idea behind Pecha Kucha is to keep presentations concise,
the interest level up and to have many presenters sharing their
ideas within the course of one night.

Therefore the 20x20 Pecha Kucha format was created:
each presenter is allowed a slideshow of 20 images,
each shown for 20 seconds.

This results in a total presentation time of
6 minutes 40 seconds on a stage before the
next presenter is up.

I Changed the HTML code in my Blog, Now I have a NEW LOOK!

Never stop learning, today I changed the layout of my blog
without uploading a new layout. Huh? yes, all I did was change
the html codes to make it a three column blog.

I think it was easier than: saving my original blog file, then
uploading a new template, and then re-doing my links and page
elements, or maybe save my widgets. Tooooo much.

I think it now has a better feel to it. I like the way my
visionary and spiritual art blog is comming along.

Notice there is free art for you, check it out.

This is the painting style for my Wife's painting

Here is the painting style my wife wants for her painting.
I'm looking forward to becoming that painting.

I like the colors and tones, I'm feeling it.....
The process has started. (smile)

I will post a sketch of what my painting will be with this style soon.

Preparing to do a painting of the Not Visionary Kind

My wife has asked me to do a painting for her.
The type of style she wants is not the kind
of visionary or spiritual art I usually paint.

Being a student of art marketing, I have read
many, many times that one should find a style
and stay with it.

As an artist I do like to do other type or art.
With that being said, I would like to be know for my
versatility as an artist as well.

It would be a shame that an artist or a person
should live their life to uphold a certian label.
I live and paint to expand my mind and my spirit.

Yes, I will enjoy creating something for my wife.

Quote of the day

"If you don't get what you want, you suffer; if you get what you don't want, you suffer; even when you get exactly what you want, you still suffer because you can't hold on to it forever. Your mind is your predicament. It wants to be free of change. Free of pain, free of the obligations of life and death. But change is a law, and no amount of pretending will alter that reality."

Creating a Visionary Painting from my Logo

As you may know, I am a Graphic Designer. I help marketers
brand themselves by creating unique "Make You Want To
Click On My Profile" Images, logos and graphics. I am happy
to provide my design skills to help marketers make an
impact on all the web 2.0 sites used

As a spiritual and visionary artist, I had the toughest time
creating my personal logo. I am my own worst critic. But
I feel like the end results is great.

The whole idea for my logo was to take my initials from my
name. The letters P J and T and create a graphic that made you
look, and hinted of my visionary and spiritual sight. Also at the
same time looking cool.

On the side of my website you will see my Pete Taboada logo.
Now, I have been getting little whispers that thell me to make a

painting out of my logo. I have been thinking about this little pull,
so I will start feeling it out. All I have to do is trust self.
